Our Valentine's Day was lovely.
Dinner, flowers, the whole nine yards.
Ty's mama taught him right.
But let me rewind to last weekend....
For some reason I have been CRAVING Chick-fil-A for like the past two weeks.
Ok....I know the reason...it is DELICIOUS.
We used to go to the food court at University Mall in Orem,UT for our fix.
I love it so much.
We enjoy trying new places to eat in the city but this Saturday was the perfect day to go back to our roots.
Thankfully there is ONE Chick-fil-A in the city!!!!!!!!
I was so excited when we were on our way there...I was practically running.
We were a little confused when we got to the entrance to find it wasn't a typical Chick-fil-A.....it was in the cafeteria of the NYU student building.
Whatevs.
I'm not above that.
We felt super awk walking in there...the students could sense we were outsiders and were staring at us.
We were unaware it was a "Chick-fil-A Express"....but they basically had the full menu so it was cool |
Ty feeling awkward clearing our tray haha |
Feeling satisfied, we then went to Union Square to meet up with some of Ty's best buddies who were in town.
We were a little ahead of schedule so we did what any normal couple would do....
Hit up Nordstom Rack to try on the biggest shoes we could find.
These babies were size 20!!! |
Just some giant Timberlands |
Then we went to Viva la Crepe and ate yummy nutella goodness
This is John John's 'Sugar Water' face...you know, from Men in Black??? |
The next day we all went to the 9/11 memorial. Ty had never been so it was fun for him to finally see the exhibit that he works literally across the street from.
Matt, John John, and Ty....Friends since freshman year in college! |
